Requirements

What you’ll need

Professional experience developing software using Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, or comparable programming languages
Experience developing backend services or REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot
Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
Working knowledge of Git, source-control practices, and software development lifecycles
Experience building, maintaining, or supporting CI/CD pipelines
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and produce clear technical and operational documentation
Experience collaborating with engineering teams, business partners, and other cross-functional stakeholders
Understanding of application testing practices, including unit, integration, test-driven development, or behavior-driven development
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, formal technical training, and relevant professional experience
Preferred: Experience with GitHub Actions and modernization or migration of Jenkins-based pipelines
Preferred: Experience developing automation using Python and GitHub APIs
Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
Preferred: Experience using Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
Preferred: Experience with event-driven technologies such as Kafka or Azure Event Hubs
Preferred: Experience developing microfrontends or reusable application-scaffolding frameworks
Preferred: Familiarity with PostgreSQL, audit logging, identity and approval workflows, or enterprise security and compliance requirements
Preferred: Experience supporting large-scale repository, cloud, or development-platform migrations
Preferred: Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including sprint planning and capacity forecasting
Formal software engineering training in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, relational databases, or related technologies is preferred
