Key responsibilities & impact

Design end-to-end integration patterns connecting cloud-native SaaS, Epic EMR, Enterprise Data Platform, and other engineering domains
Architect and code software applications and digital solutions
Conduct system testing, debugging, and peer code reviews
Ensure integration-layer reliability, stability, and linear scalability
Act as a technical consultant to Product and Business leads
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and propose design patterns
Explore tools and frameworks to drive innovation
Incorporate AI/ML into the development process and intelligent automation
Create and maintain system designs, architecture diagrams, and best practices
Support knowledge transfer and platform self-service
Clarify vague requirements by engaging stakeholders and developing appropriate solutions
Optimize Payer Operations by enriching Payer metadata, automating Payer lifecycle contracts, and measuring Payer performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience working with SQL and relational database management systems
Hands-on experience with dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing
Programming and modifying code in SQL, Python, and other languages
Experience supporting and implementing cloud-based and on-premises data warehousing services
Hands-on experience troubleshooting data issues
Hands-on experience with performance improvement techniques
Ability to identify and implement process improvements and best practices
Ability to take ownership in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based support environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent related work experience
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, payor contracts, and healthcare standards such as HL7 and FHIR is preferred
