About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement efficient, scalable solutions meeting business requirements and quality standards
- Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions with architects and senior engineers
- Provide input on technical feasibility, performance optimization, and scalability
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines
- Coordinate with team members, provide technical insights, and contribute to decisions
- Promote adoption of best practices, technologies, and tools
- Participate in knowledge sharing through code reviews, tech talks, and workshops
- Implement complex features and enhance existing functionality
- Ensure delivery of high-quality code
- Guide and mentor junior developers
- Create proof of concepts addressing customer challenges
- Partner with business and IT leaders to provide expert support, resolve complex issues, and provide root-cause analysis
- Identify ecosystem gaps and develop solutions to improve overall performance
- Serve as technical lead and individual contributor on next-generation specialty pharmacy platform initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of experience working with enterprise solution delivery in a large-scale distributed software design environment
- 5+ years of Java and Springboot development experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise cloud initiatives and cloud computing technologies
- 5+ years of designing and developing modern microservices and cost-effective APIs
- 3+ years of experience working on CI/CD Pipeline automation
- 3+ years of experience working in an Agile-based development environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
- Preferred: 2+ years of Agentic AI / Generative AI experience
- Preferred: Health and wellness domain experience
- Preferred: Hands-on full stack development experience with AngularJS, JavaScript, Oracle, and modern databases such as NoSQL
- Preferred: Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts and techniques, including NLP, text generation and summarization, conversational AI, and chatbots
- Preferred: Hands-on experience developing user-facing features and/or applications
- Preferred: Ability to create and execute roadmaps that balance progress, innovation, and reliable scaling
- Preferred: Ability to learn/work with emerging cloud and IT technologies, methodologies, and solutions
- Preferred: Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries and build relationships
