Key responsibilities & impact

Define and communicate the long-term application development strategy
Manage the application development team’s day-to-day work
Foster collaboration, agility, and continuous growth while ensuring high-quality, timely delivery
Analyze industry trends, emerging technologies, and business intelligence for innovation and process improvement opportunities
Allocate resources and prioritize development projects
Conduct risk assessments and establish governance processes for compliance
Collaborate with senior management and business leaders to understand application needs and requirements
Communicate with external partners, vendors, and clients
Review and approve project deliverables
Design, develop, and implement digital solutions and systems
Architect and code software applications
Conduct system testing and debugging
Contribute to the technical direction and innovation of digital engineering projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of software development experience in enterprise/web applications
5+ years of experience in React, React TypeScript, React JS, Python, Nodejs or other front-end frameworks
5+ years of experience with cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, Azure, or other public cloud services
3+ years of experience as a full stack developer in Java-based technologies including microservices, FAST API, Spring Boot framework, and REST
3+ years of experience in Agile development practices
3+ years of experience applying AI tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Amazon Q
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
Experience leading projects or managing directs preferred
Experience with emerging cloud platform technologies preferred
Ability to guide teams in adopting AI-assisted engineering practices responsibly preferred
Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) preferred
Certified Agile Developer (CAD) preferred
