About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete a self-paced, collaborative 16-week training program
- Participate in virtual and hands-on learning experiences
- Engage with the District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach
- Actively engage with leaders in Key Learning Experiences to support progression toward promotion
- Support the store as a management team member
- Lead consistently with CVS values and policies
- Engage colleagues in support of CVS’s purpose of helping people on their path to better health
- Accept potential promotion roles within the market
- Provide customer care and high levels of service
- Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth
- Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or GED is required
- A four year college degree is preferred
- Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree
- Retail management experience, or experience as a CVS Supervisor
- Willingness to accept a promotion to Store Manager role at any location in the designated market
- Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores located within the designated market
- Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs
- Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform customer care duties
- Ability to execute merchandising strategies
- Ability to manage store inventory and assets
- Ability to work 45 anticipated weekly hours
