Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete a self-paced, collaborative 16-week training program preparing for a CVS Store Manager position
  • Participate in virtual and hands-on learning experiences
  • Engage with the District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach
  • Support the store as a management team member
  • Lead consistently with CVS values and policies
  • Engage colleagues in support of CVS's purpose of helping people on their path to better health
  • Perform customer care duties and provide high levels of service
  • Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth
  • Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability
  • Actively engage with leaders in Key Learning Experiences during the structured program
  • Accept potential promotion roles within the designated market

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • A four year college degree is preferred
  • Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree
  • Retail management experience, or experience as a CVS Supervisor
  • Willingness to accept a promotion to Store Manager role at any location in the designated market
  • Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores located within the designated market
  • Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs
  • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
  • Ability to perform customer care duties
  • Ability to execute merchandising strategies
  • Ability to manage store inventory and assets
  • Ability to work 45 anticipated hours weekly
