About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide telephonic patient contact in a remote practice setting
- Collaborate with health care professionals to provide meaningful patient experiences
- Use critical thinking to develop, implement and evaluate comprehensive plans of care for patients with multiple disease states
- Make outbound calls to educate and support patients regarding new medication
- Support defined patient populations through telecommunications nursing outreach programs
- Educate patients on medication adherence and disease-state training
- Provide continuity of care for patients and caregivers
- Work Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. CST
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must hold an unrestricted RN license in the state of residence
- Must have multi-state/compact privileges
- Ability to be licensed in all non-compact states, territories and the District of Columbia based on business needs
- Must meet state nursing board requirements
- 3+ years of clinical RN experience required
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Candidate may reside in WI, AZ, IA, TX, MO, ID, NM or OH
- Previous telephonic nursing experience preferred
- EPIC systems experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Licensure in multiple states preferred
- RN Diploma, Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Nursing
