About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide telephonic patient contact in a remote practice setting
- Collaborate with health care professionals to provide meaningful patient experiences
- Use critical thinking to develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive plans of care for patients with multiple disease states
- Make outbound calls to educate and support patients regarding new medications
- Support continuity of care for defined patient populations through telecommunications nursing outreach programs
- Provide customer service to patients using written and verbal communication
- Educate patients on medication adherence and disease-state training
- Support patients and caregivers with compassion and sensitivity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must hold an unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of residence
- Must have multi-state/compact privileges and ability to be licensed in all non-compact states, territories and the District of Columbia as required by business needs
- Must meet applicable state nursing board requirements
- Must be based in Texas or Arizona for this requisition
- 3+ years of clinical RN experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- RN Diploma, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Monday-Friday availability, 10:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m. CST set hours
- Previous telephonic nursing experience preferred
- EPIC systems experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Licensure in multiple states preferred
