About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Account for vendor invoices and employee expense claims
  • Set up bank payments and perform bank reconciliations
  • Perform fixed asset accounting
  • Perform general ledger accounting, including accruals and prepayments
  • Deduct withholding tax (TDS)
  • Reconcile GST with the portal
  • Lead the month-end closing process relating to payables and accruals
  • Investigate accounts payable issues
  • Build relationships with vendors and colleagues
  • Create accounts payable processes and procedures
  • Perform general accounting functions, including journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Provide assistance and support to all functions of the finance department
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Help enterprises assure customer experiences across voice, digital, messaging, and AI-powered channels through Cyara’s AI-powered customer experience assurance platform

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate or post-Graduate in the field of Finance / Commerce
  • 6-8 years of experience
  • Thorough understanding of accounts payable process
  • Excellent communication skills to promote cross-functional collaboration
  • Understanding of general ledger activities
  • Ability to identify process improvements and efficiencies
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Experience with NetSuite and Airbase
  • Ability to leverage AI-powered tools to enhance productivity, automate routine accounting tasks, improve reconciliation accuracy, and generate actionable financial insights while maintaining data integrity and compliance
  • Ability to identify and drive opportunities to implement AI and automation within finance processes
