About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Overall technical responsibility for Vulnerability & Exposure Management
Lead and develop the responsible security teams and team leads
Further develop existing vulnerability management services
Build and establish Continuous Threat Exposure Management
Further develop Attack Surface Management and risk-based assessment approaches
Identify and assess vulnerabilities, exposed systems, and potential attack paths
Strategically integrate Threat Intelligence and Dark Web monitoring
Further develop processes, methodologies, and technical security solutions
Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools
Work closely with SOC, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and Service Management
Provide technical support for customer projects and complex security matters

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of professional experience in cybersecurity
Extensive experience in at least one of the following areas: Vulnerability Management, Exposure Management, Security Operations / SOC, or Attack Surface Management
Experience in the technical or disciplinary leadership of teams
Ability to develop technical teams and delegate responsibility effectively
Very strong understanding of vulnerabilities, attack paths, and cyber risks
Knowledge of Threat Intelligence and risk-based vulnerability assessment
Solid understanding of networks, firewalls, and IT infrastructures
Good knowledge of Linux and Windows environments
Experience further developing complex security services and processes
Experience in project and stakeholder management
Analytical and structured approach to work
Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on technical mindset
Degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
Good command of German and English
