About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and end-to-end ownership of cloud solution architectures on Azure, from requirements analysis and conceptualization through to handover into stable operations
  • Develop and operate automations, workflows, Infrastructure as Code, and self-service tools
  • Manage the cloud platform lifecycle, including cost optimization, capacity planning, and the continuous enhancement of existing solutions
  • Ensure observability, logging, resilience, and cloud security in line with recognized architectural principles
  • Actively coordinate changes, migrations, and technical transition projects in close collaboration with the operations team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
  • Several years of practical experience with Azure solutions in production environments
  • In-depth understanding of cloud architectures, including IAM, networking, security architecture, PaaS services, system integration, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform or Bicep)
  • Experience developing and automating cloud environments using Azure DevOps, PowerShell, API integrations, and system integrations
  • Independent and structured approach to work
  • Proactive mindset and end-to-end thinking
  • Fluent German
  • Good English skills for working in a multilingual environment
