About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and mentor a team of 7 software engineers across the U.S. and India
- Design, architect, build, and deploy the next-generation Cyderes portal
- Develop scalable multi-tenant web applications, APIs, dashboards, reporting, and workflow/ticket management capabilities
- Build modern front-end experiences using React, TypeScript, and AWS Amplify
- Develop backend services and APIs using Python, Java, and/or Go
- Drive cloud architecture and application development using AWS
- Provide hands-on technical leadership through architecture, coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, and production deployments
- Help integrate and evolve MDR, Meridian, and other Cyderes capabilities within the new portal
- Establish and improve engineering practices using AI-assisted and agentic development, including Claude
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and other technology leaders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of software engineering experience with strong hands-on development experience
- Experience leading engineers as an Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, or similar technical leadership role
- Strong experience with AWS and cloud-native application development
- Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript
- Proficiency in Python, Java, and/or Go
- Experience building multi-tenant SaaS/web applications, APIs, dashboards, and reporting applications
- Experience with AWS Amplify preferred
- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, scalability, security, and CI/CD
- Experience with AI-assisted software development and tools such as Claude preferred
- Strong communication and mentoring skills with experience leading distributed U.S. and India-based engineering teams
- Cybersecurity, MDR, SOC, or security platform experience is a plus
