About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot PingFederate in enterprise production environments
- Support SSO and identity federation using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
- Configure and troubleshoot PingFederate IdP/SP connections, authentication adapters, policies, and integrations
- Support integrations with Active Directory, LDAP, Microsoft Entra ID, and enterprise applications
- Investigate authentication failures, token issues, certificate errors, and federation outages
- Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support, incident management, and root cause analysis
- Perform platform upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and system health monitoring
- Collaborate with IAM, security, and infrastructure teams to improve platform performance and reliability
- Maintain technical documentation and support disaster recovery and change management activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–7+ years of experience in IT application support, IAM, or enterprise authentication
- Strong hands-on PingFederate administration, configuration, and troubleshooting experience
- Solid knowledge of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and enterprise SSO
- Experience with PingFederate federation connections, authentication policies, and application integrations
- Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux, Active Directory, LDAP, and Microsoft Entra ID
- Experience with JSON, PowerShell, Git, and regular expressions
- Strong production support, incident management, and troubleshooting skills
- Bachelor's degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience
- Experience with PingAccess, PingDirectory, or PingOne
- Experience with PingFederate upgrades, migrations, and high-availability environments
- Knowledge of PKI, certificates, encryption, networking, and security protocols
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise IAM environments
- Participation in an on-call rotation is required
