About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive expansion across a portfolio of Federal Civilian agencies, emphasizing VA, DOE, HUD, DOI, and DOL
- Develop and execute strategic account growth plans aligned with agency modernization priorities, mission requirements, budgets, and acquisition pathways
- Leverage customer relationships, market knowledge, and industry connections to accelerate access and pipeline development
- Identify priority organizations, programs, mission areas, technology initiatives, whitespace, and adjacent expansion opportunities
- Establish relationships with mission owners, program leaders, contracting stakeholders, technical leaders, and executive decision-makers
- Engage customers early, understand mission needs and funding considerations, and shape opportunities before formal acquisition
- Generate and qualify opportunities through customer engagement, partner collaboration, OEM alignment, and market awareness
- Maintain qualified current-year and out-year pipeline, tracking requirements, funding, acquisition paths, competition, budgets, forecasts, and risks in Salesforce
- Develop acquisition paths including prime/subcontract positioning, contract vehicle access, teaming requirements, and readiness dependencies
- Monitor Federal budgets, forecasts, recompetes, industry days, RFIs, sources sought notices, and draft solicitations
- Own pursuit strategy and execution from identification through contract award, including intelligence, competitive positioning, win themes, partner strategy, milestones, and resources
- Coordinate Solution Architects, Delivery, Capture/Proposal, Alliances, Marketing, Operations, Contracts, Finance, leadership, OEMs, and system integrators
- Prepare RFIs, sources sought responses, proposal contributions, bid/no-bid recommendations, Bid Council presentations, and proposal-review actions
- Coordinate documented handoffs to Delivery and remain accountable for account growth during execution
- Originate and expand engineering, integration, modernization, and other services opportunities
- Identify follow-on requirements and convert successful projects into sustained program relationships
- Develop joint pursuits and workshare objectives with Federal system integrators and OEM partners
- Represent CyKor in customer meetings, partner engagements, industry events, and Federal market forums
- Communicate CyKor's technology value proposition in terms of agency mission outcomes and strengthen its trusted-advisor position
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of technology sales, business development, capture, or account management experience within the Federal market
- Demonstrated success selling technology solutions into Federal Civilian agencies
- Demonstrated experience and established customer relationships within at least one priority agency: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Department of Interior, or Department of Labor (DOL)
- Proven track record of leveraging customer relationships to develop pipeline, identify new requirements, expand accounts, and close complex opportunities
- Strong understanding of Federal procurement processes, acquisition cycles, contract vehicles, and compliance requirements
- Experience engaging mission owners, program leaders, technical stakeholders, contracting organizations, and executive decision-makers
- Demonstrated ability to identify and influence opportunities prior to formal solicitation
- Demonstrated experience shaping and advancing Federal pursuits, preparing bid/no-bid recommendations, and contributing to RFIs, sources sought responses, and proposals
- Demonstrated experience developing solutions with Federal system integrators and technical teams, selling engineering or professional services, and developing workshare and pricing strategies that protect profitability
- Experience managing pipeline, forecasting, and account activity within Salesforce (SFDC)
- Ability to work across technical, operational, contracting, and partner teams to execute coordinated growth strategies
- An active Secret clearance
- Preferred: deep customer relationships and success within VA, DOE, HUD, DOI, or DOL
- Preferred: strategic account planning, adjacent account expansion, sustained Federal program growth, contract vehicle and OEM ecosystem familiarity, partner relationships, and experience with cybersecurity, cloud, networking, data center, infrastructure modernization, enterprise software, or mission-support technologies
