About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute account growth strategies across the U.S. Space Force, focusing on Headquarters USSF, SSC, CFC, and STARCOM
- Leverage customer relationships, mission knowledge, and industry connections to accelerate access and pipeline development
- Identify priority organizations, programs, mission areas, and technology initiatives where CyKor can deliver value
- Build account plans aligned with Space Force priorities, including cyber defense, command and control, enterprise IT, data, communications, training, readiness, and infrastructure modernization
- Establish relationships with mission owners, program leaders, acquisition stakeholders, contracting personnel, technical leaders, and executive decision-makers
- Engage customers early to understand mission challenges, capability gaps, funding, modernization priorities, acquisition strategies, and emerging needs
- Generate and qualify opportunities through customer engagement, partner collaboration, OEM alignment, and market awareness
- Maintain qualified current-year and out-year pipeline and track acquisition strategies, contract vehicles, budgets, and competitive dynamics
- Own account-level pursuit strategy from opportunity identification through contract award
- Coordinate with Solution Architects, Delivery, Capture/Proposal, Alliances, Marketing, Operations, Contracts, Finance, and leadership
- Develop RFI, sources sought, and proposal contributions; participate in reviews and close assigned actions through submission
- Prepare and present Bid Council recommendations and execute approved decisions
- Maintain customer and partner engagement through award and coordinate handoffs to Delivery
- Identify follow-on requirements and expand successful projects into sustained Space Force program relationships
- Develop joint pursuits with Federal system integrators and OEM partners
- Maintain Salesforce records, forecasts, account intelligence, and pipeline visibility
- Represent CyKor in customer meetings, partner engagements, industry events, and national security space forums
- Connect CyKor's technology solutions to space mission, acquisition, readiness, cyber, and operational outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of technology sales, business development, capture, or account management experience within the Federal or DoD market
- Demonstrated success selling technology solutions into the U.S. Space Force, Department of the Air Force, or national security space community
- Established customer relationships within the Space Force enterprise, preferably within Headquarters USSF, SSC, CFC, STARCOM, or aligned acquisition and mission organizations
- Proven track record of leveraging customer relationships to develop pipeline, identify new requirements, expand accounts, and close complex opportunities
- Strong understanding of Space Force, Department of the Air Force, DoD, and Federal procurement processes, acquisition cycles, contract vehicles, budget processes, and compliance requirements
- Experience engaging mission owners, program leaders, technical stakeholders, acquisition organizations, contracting personnel, and executive decision-makers
- Demonstrated ability to identify and influence opportunities prior to formal solicitation
- Experience shaping and advancing Space Force or Federal pursuits, preparing bid/no-bid recommendations, and contributing to RFIs, sources sought responses, and proposals
- Experience developing solutions with Federal system integrators and technical teams, selling engineering or professional services, and developing workshare and pricing strategies that protect profitability
- Experience managing pipeline, forecasting, and account activity within Salesforce (SFDC)
- Ability to work across technical, operational, contracting, and partner teams to execute coordinated growth strategies
- Active Secret clearance
