About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and document business processes with internal teams across procurement, sales, accounting and controlling, and external partners
Gather and prioritize requirements by value and convert them into implementation specifications
Reject or defer requests when their benefit does not justify the effort
Plan SAP projects and releases, including testing, cutover and follow-up on process adoption
Configure SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, including business configuration, roles and authorizations, output determination and data migration
Specify integrations between SAP and surrounding systems, including the in-house operations platform
Define data flows, transfer triggers and failure-handling procedures
Coordinate implementation partners and evaluate deliverables against requirements
Ensure accuracy of material, supplier and cost center master data

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least three years of experience with ERP systems
Experience supporting an ERP implementation or major change through go-live
Strong SAP S/4HANA experience, ideally with the Cloud Public Edition
Understanding of SAP S/4HANA release cycles, extensibility model and standard-process approach
Solid technical understanding of API-based integrations and ERP data structures
Ability to assess technical proposals and discuss them with developers
Experience with process documentation, including exceptions
Understanding of how ERP data feeds into reports
Ability to trace report figures back to source data
Analytical and structured working style with close attention to detail
Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to colleagues from different functions
Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels and manage differing expectations and priorities
Fluent German (minimum C1) and English
Willingness to work in a hands-on, dynamic environment and take ownership
