About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver direct services to clients, including direct therapy in person or via telehealth
- Facilitate Nurturing Families group, individual, or family sessions in person or via telehealth
- Provide occasional indirect services such as case management
- Prepare assessments, case notes, and other written reports; document all client services
- Attend mandatory in-services and staff meetings
- Respond to daytime crisis calls through a rotating on-call schedule
- Refer and link clients to ancillary services
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a behavioral or social science (social welfare, sociology, psychology, counseling and guidance, social work, etc.)
- Minimum of one year counseling/therapy experience
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, in English
- Must have valid driver's license and insurance
- Must be able to pass DCFS background check
