About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own AI/ML initiatives from discovery through delivery, adoption, and value realisation
Translate business requirements into clearly defined epics, features, and prioritised backlog items
Prioritise initiatives based on business value, feasibility, dependencies, strategic alignment, and delivery capacity
Act as the primary stakeholder interface, ensuring alignment on objectives, scope, priorities, and expected outcomes
Collaborate with technical leads, data scientists, and ML engineers to define practical and scalable AI solutions
Monitor delivery progress, manage risks and dependencies, and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders
Drive adoption and track measurable business impact, ensuring initiatives deliver tangible value beyond technical implementation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Significant experience in product ownership, backlog management, prioritisation, and delivery coordination
Proven track record of leading AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI initiatives
Experience translating complex business requirements into actionable product roadmaps, epics, and features
Strong understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, including experimentation, productionisation, deployment, and adoption
Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
Exposure to enterprise AI and data platforms such as Databricks
Experience working within data platform, analytics, or data product environments
Knowledge of modern AI ecosystems, cloud-based data platforms, and enterprise-scale AI adoption programmes
Structured, organised, and highly accountable
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Comfortable challenging priorities and making informed trade-off decisions
Technically credible with the ability to bridge business and technology teams
Curiosity about solving business problems through AI and data-driven innovation
