About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain control systems and autonomous functionalities for surface drilling equipment
Develop and enhance backend applications using C++
Build and maintain user interfaces using React and TypeScript
Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, product owners, and end users
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to testing and deployment
Ensure software quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability
Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making
Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote best development practices
Work within agile development processes and contribute to team ceremonies and planning activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Significant experience in software development, preferably within industrial automation, embedded systems, or complex technical environments
Strong proficiency in C++ development
Experience developing modern web applications using React and TypeScript
Strong understanding of software architecture, design principles, and system integration
Proven ability to deliver high-quality software solutions in complex technical environments
Experience working within agile development teams
Preferred: Experience with Jira, Git, Azure DevOps, and Docker
Preferred: Knowledge of autonomous systems, machine control, robotics, or industrial automation
Preferred: Experience working with safety-critical or mission-critical software systems
