About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead technical architecture for public sector post-sales implementations and translate agency requirements into scalable Cyware architectures
  • Design integrations across SIEM, EDR, case management, cloud security technologies, and information-sharing environments for FedRAMP, IL5, and GovRAMP customers
  • Build, package, and maintain reusable use cases and reference architectures for threat intelligence, security automation, agentic/autonomous SOC workflows, and collective defense
  • Provide advisory expertise on FedRAMP High, NIST 800-53, CMMC, IL5, and GovRAMP compliance and accreditation requirements
  • Build demos and narratives for technical decision-makers and executives
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering on emerging AI and agentic capabilities
  • Enable Sales Engineering, Technical Delivery, and Customer Success teams with technical assets, reference architectures, and best practices
  • Support strategic deals through planning, architecture, and execution
  • Produce solution architecture models and documentation
  • Deploy, tune, and integrate log management and analytics platforms such as ELK-based stacks
  • Shape solution strategy for RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires
  • Own technical relationships with agency stakeholders, systems integrators, and government resellers
  • Serve as the field-facing voice to Product and Engineering on public sector requirements
  • Architect Cyware Intel Exchange solutions for ingestion, normalization, enrichment, and operationalization of multi-source threat data
  • Guide customers on threat modeling, intelligence-driven defense, proactive threat hunting, data governance, indicator lifecycle management, and false-positive reduction
  • Design and implement TIP integrations with enterprise security technologies using APIs, automation, and custom connectors
  • Advise enterprise customers on CTI strategies and maturity roadmaps
  • Conduct technical discovery workshops and gap analyses
  • Formulate customer success plans to maximize CTIP ROI and utilization
  • Report to the VP of Solution Delivery & Customer Success

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Location in the Northern Virginia region or DC area, USA
  • US Citizenship is required in accordance with 8 U.S.C 1324b(a)(2)(C)
  • 10+ years of experience as a seasoned professional in solution architecture, sales engineering, or security architecture, with a proven track record of deploying cybersecurity products for Federal customers
  • Experience responding to and architecting for government RFPs/RFIs
  • Active or eligible for a federal security clearance, or ability to obtain one
  • At least 3 years of direct security solution architecture experience
  • Strong knowledge of Cyber Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, and Vulnerability Management
  • Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, the Cyber Kill Chain, and the Diamond Model
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing security automation and SOAR workflows
  • Experience developing automation in Python, including playbooks, REST API integrations, and scripting
  • Familiarity with SIEM, EDR/XDR, UEBA, CMDB, NAC, and threat-intelligence enrichment sources
  • Strong understanding of enterprise network architecture, operating system concepts, and IT security fundamentals
  • Problem-solving experience in cybersecurity using automation and industry-standard practices
  • Ability to whiteboard with security engineers and present to senior executives
  • Comfortable operating across the Product/field boundary and enabling others
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or relevant platform-specific security certifications
  • Strong executive presence and ability to translate technical depth into business and mission outcomes
  • Preferred: prior federal/SI SOC technology deployment experience
  • Preferred: experience building AI agents for real-world cybersecurity
  • Preferred: existing relationships within DoD, civilian agencies, or SLTT security programs
  • Preferred: AWS GovCloud security certifications
  • Preferred: cybersecurity or SaaS vendor experience maintaining a FedRAMP-authorized environment
  • Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer Professional certification
  • Preferred: container security scanning and software supply-chain security experience, including SBOM and image signing
  • Preferred: familiarity with SOAR/TIP or broader cybersecurity product environments
