Senior Cost Analyst – SAP S/4HANA
Daiichi Sankyo Brasil Ltda. Serve as the Cost Accounting function’s subject matter expert in the migration project from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, participating in requirements gathering, process reviews, testing, and implementation of cost-related functionalities .
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the Cost Accounting function’s subject matter expert in the migration project from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, participating in requirements gathering, process reviews, testing, and implementation of cost-related functionalities
- Analyze current costing processes and contribute to the design, validation, and implementation of processes in the new SAP environment
- Perform and analyze the monthly cost close, including production orders, cycles, allocations, apportionments, and key variances
- Analyze manufacturing costs and variances against budgets and/or established standards, identifying root causes and supporting the responsible teams
- Prepare and review product cost calculations, including budgeting and forecasting-related processes
- Support analyses related to inventory, obsolescence provisions, and cost and manufacturing efficiency indicators
- Partner with Finance, Production, Production Planning and Control, and other relevant departments to improve and standardize costing processes
- Contribute to Daiichi Sankyo’s mission as a Japanese pharmaceutical company to create and deliver innovative medicines that improve people’s quality of life
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Solid experience in industrial costing, preferably in pharmaceutical companies
- Hands-on experience as an SAP FI/CO Key User, particularly in Product Costing and Controlling processes
- Proficiency in Excel
- Intermediate English proficiency, with the ability to participate in meetings and interact with international teams
- Experience participating in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects
