About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the strategic planning of national and international events aligned with the organization’s objectives
- Coordinate the company’s participation in national and international events, serving as the focal point with global teams
- Support the oversight of strategic event budgets, monitoring key performance indicators and proposing corrective actions
- Support negotiations with medical societies, event organizers, suppliers, and strategic partners
- Conduct site visits and infrastructure assessments to determine event venues and formats
- Prepare executive presentations and financial reports for leadership
- Identify opportunities for innovation, operational efficiency, and improvements to the participant experience
- Influence internal and external stakeholders in decision-making related to the events strategy
- Serve as a technical reference for the department, sharing knowledge and supporting the development of less experienced analysts
- Make autonomous decisions within the scope of responsibility, ensuring the achievement of departmental objectives
- Manage event-related administrative processes, including quotations and contracting, supplier approval and management, coordination with production and logistics agencies, budget execution, payments, invoices, and expense tracking
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Events, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Intermediate English proficiency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel
- Knowledge of electronic payment and expense control systems is desirable
- Affirmative action position for Black and Brown professionals
