About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, workflows, and information needs
- Plan and conduct interviews, working sessions, observation activities, and requirements workshops
- Elicit, analyze, document, validate, and manage business and functional requirements
- Write user stories, business requirements, functional requirements, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria
- Trace requirements through design, development, testing, and implementation
- Identify and resolve requirement gaps, conflicts, dependencies, assumptions, and risks
- Document current-state and future-state business processes
- Analyze workflows, handoffs, controls, data usage, and pain points to identify improvement opportunities
- Recommend process or system changes to reduce manual effort and improve user or customer experience
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, configuration specialists, data teams, and vendors
- Participate in solution reviews, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demonstrations, and release-readiness activities
- Support business applications through issue analysis, enhancement definition, prioritization, testing, and user communication
- Develop test scenarios and expected results
- Coordinate system testing and User Acceptance Testing
- Assist with implementation planning, business readiness, data validation, training content, job aids, and end-user communications
- Provide post-implementation support and gather feedback
- Build relationships with business users, subject matter experts, technology teams, and external partners
- Facilitate meetings and communicate findings, options, recommendations, risks, issues, and status
- Organize assigned work, manage priorities and deadlines, and contribute to project planning and delivery governance
- Analyze business data, define reporting and dashboard requirements, and assist with data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and data-quality improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Approximately 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, process improvement, application support, project delivery, or a related role
- Working knowledge of business analysis practices, requirements lifecycle management, process mapping, testing, and solution delivery
- Experience independently completing routine and moderately complex analysis assignments
- Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, facilitation, organization, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through on commitments, and work effectively in a cross-functional environment
- Proficiency with common productivity, diagramming, collaboration, and work-management tools
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law
