About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Intake, organize, and maintain files in the matter management system
- Run reports and prepare data visualizations for team metrics and KPIs
- Manage discovery, including collection, organization, and preparation of data for production
- Issue and manage litigation holds
- Prepare drafts of basic documents, including correspondence, discovery and subpoena responses, affidavits and declarations, settlement agreements, and other documents
- Manage and maintain case files, records, and documentation within the matter management system
- Investigate facts and collect relevant documents relating to disputes
- Maintain and submit litigation and compliance reports
- Manage service of process
- Work with Finance to process payments for legal settlements and other needs
- Manage administrative needs of the Disputes team, including invoicing, filing, calendaring, and scheduling meetings
- Assist with other projects as needed
- Provide essential legal support to the Disputes Team for lawsuits, subpoenas, small claims, product claims, and related matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate Degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience as a paralegal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Work visa sponsorship is not offered for this position
- Successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law
- Safety-sensitive positions may require cannabis (marijuana) testing
