About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support execution of new construction Data Center projects in Houston
  • Coordinate project activities to ensure goals are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters
  • Provide execution assistance to the Project Team through status reports, escalation support, scheduling meetings, site visits, and customer meetings
  • Coordinate with the Project Team and local teams to maintain current and accurate project plans
  • Process project plan updates and communicate them to stakeholders while managing version control
  • Document standards, policies, updates, and other program details
  • Assist with project schedule revisions, including tasks, estimates, dependencies, and milestones
  • Monitor and coordinate project issue tracking and provide timely status updates
  • Assist in creating and monitoring detailed project forecasts
  • Create project documentation and ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Update project tracking systems and third-party management systems
  • Assist with administrative preparation for meetings
  • Communicate issues to management before they reach critical status
  • Develop and maintain accurate and complete project and program files

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree; additional work experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of related work experience, ideally in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing service field or comparable industry
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.)
  • Strong organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and solve complex problems
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work in the United States; work visa sponsorship is not available
  • Knowledge or prior experience in HVAC products, services, and/or turnkey projects preferred
  • PMI Certification preferred
  • Inside sales experience, ideally in HVAC or related industry, preferred
  • Successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including employment history and education verification, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law
