About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Evaluate, develop, modify, code, and test software programs, focusing on CAD applications
Support internal Daikin Applied programming needs and application users
Analyze, test, and debug applications
Document, evaluate, and modify existing programs or formulate logic for new programs
Support the design, programming, or testing of applications
Create and maintain multiple CAD applications
Devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharts, and perform coding
Reference and understand application and system documentation for design, testing, and programming
Document and review programs, including installation and maintenance
Develop expertise in installation, design, configuration, and specialized testing
Apply knowledge of user operations, IT standards and processes, and specialized application training
Provide and act on feedback for improvements
Work as part of a larger team and assist less experienced team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
4 years of experience in software development
2 years of experience in CAD software development
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Employment contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law
Preferred: 6+ years’ experience in application and software development
Preferred: 4+ years of experience in CAD software development
Preferred: Experience with Helix Toolkit
