About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the Digital organization’s due diligence work assessing target digital environments, including infrastructure, security, data, and applications
  • Coordinate cross-functional input, develop cost and risk assessments, and present diligence insights and integration/separation hypotheses to senior leadership
  • Build and execute Digital’s integration and separation plans from close through scope completion
  • Partner with Daikin and target businesses, functional organizations, cross-functional groups, and stakeholders throughout the M&A process
  • Track digital synergies and performance metrics post-close to confirm value realization and continuous improvement against Corporate and Digital KPIs
  • Create standardized Digital M&A methodologies, templates, and repeatable processes
  • Capture lessons learned to refine governance, tools, and execution approaches

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 8 years of related experience working on M&A projects at an organization or consulting firm
  • Experience working in an IT organization, ideally with multiple functional areas
  • Program management experience and experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience and comfort with uncertainty and the ability to define assumptions to draft plans and estimates
  • Demonstrated experience executing due diligence, integration and separation planning, and execution across digital work streams and business processes
  • Strong business process and strategic analysis skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration abilities with digital and business leaders
  • Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and influence senior leaders across functions
  • MBA or advanced degree in Engineering, Technology Management, or related field preferred
  • Broad understanding and experience with digital work streams and business processes preferred
  • Experience integrating and separating infrastructure, security, data and application platforms preferred
  • Experience in industrial, HVAC, or manufacturing sectors preferred
  • Experience in strategy development preferred
