About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and execute the Enterprise Cybersecurity roadmap in line with business priorities, the evolving threat landscape and the overall cybersecurity strategy
Steer global cybersecurity operations teams, including SOC capabilities, threat detection, incident response and cyber resilience programs
Drive the global identity security strategy and ensure secure, scalable authentication, authorization and privileged access controls
Drive enterprise security architecture, security-by-design principles, cloud security standards and integration of cybersecurity requirements into IT platforms and initiatives
Establish partnerships with Segment CISOs, business units and corporate functions to identify, steer and reduce cybersecurity risks across Daimler Truck Group
Enable teams to assess and integrate emerging cybersecurity capabilities, including AI security, automation and advanced detection technologies
Provide executive-level reporting on cyber risks, incidents, investments and remediation progress
Align external cybersecurity communication with authorities and regulators when required
Lead an international organization of approximately 160 employees, including five direct reports
Manage annual budget responsibility of approximately EUR 40 million
Report to the Group CISO

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor / Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline
Additional qualifications in leadership, transformation management or business administration are preferred
Several years of broad enterprise cybersecurity experience across security operations, identity and access management, cloud security, security architecture and cyber risk management
Proven leadership experience managing large international cybersecurity teams
Experience leading transformation and modernization programs
Strong executive stakeholder management, decision-making and communication skills
Ability to align business, IT and cybersecurity priorities
