About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

System, function, and algorithm development, for example for intersection assistants
Software modeling and programming in an agile Scrum environment
Application of software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, and scenario-based testing
Calibration and testing of ADAS functions in SiL and MiL, as well as sensor and vehicle testing in Stuttgart/Wörth
Strategy and method development in big data, machine learning, data mining, and artificial intelligence
Development of cloud-based data solutions and digital services with a focus on data engineering, AI, and business analytics
Application of data privacy, anonymization, and intelligent data analysis from the vehicle through to the cloud analytics platform
Research projects in self-supervised learning and domain-specific LLMs
Project management and the development of methods and tools in international innovation projects within engineering

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree program in electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science, digital business, project management, or a comparable field of study
Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with DOORS, JIRA, GitHub, MATLAB Simulink, and CANoe/CANape (Vector) is desirable
Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python
Experience using AI tools and methods
Knowledge of model-based agile software development
Commitment and strong teamwork skills
Analytical mindset and strategic approach to work
Class B and CE driver's licenses are an advantage
Current enrollment certificate stating the current semester
Current transcript of records

Proof of the standard duration of study
For a mandatory or combined internship: proof that the internship is required as part of the degree program
Nationals of countries outside the European Economic Area may be required to submit a residence and/or work permit
