Key responsibilities & impact

Create state-of-the-art connectivity platforms and applications for Daimler Trucks and Buses globally
Leverage massive amounts of data generated by hundreds of vehicle sensors
Combine IoT, Big Data, and cloud microservices to create compelling and scalable next-generation value-added services
Understand and align solutions with business needs
Develop and maintain products and applications using Java and cloud technologies
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines via Git Actions

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 to 6 years of experience in development and maintenance of products/applications using Java, multithreading, Spring Framework, and SQL/NoSQL databases
Experience working with Azure PaaS Services using Java, including Azure Event Hub, Application Gateway, JWT authentication, Azure Service Bus, Azure Storage, and Azure Cosmos DB
Hands-on experience with Git Actions for CI/CD deployment, code scans, Docker registry, and Azure Kubernetes Services
Experience developing cloud-based solutions using Azure, with understanding of scalability and performance design
Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines via Git Actions
Knowledge of Agile Scrum
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communication Technology, or comparable
Excellent English proficiency
Excellent analytical skills and an independent, structured, and target-oriented approach to work
Personal initiative, commitment, and resilience
Communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility and willingness to work in international teams
