About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operational responsibility for procurement, logistics, sales, and finance
Ensure that goods are available at the required location on time
Manage day-to-day operations from ordering and production through transportation, warehousing, and retail replenishment to online fulfillment
Build scalable processes, systems, and partner structures across multiple countries, retailers, and channels
Own forecasting and ordering across all channels
Manage manufacturers while balancing product availability and working capital
Manage freight, customs clearance, retail warehouses, online fulfillment, and Amazon FBA
Design the European logistics and fulfillment setup based on costs, service levels, and error rates
Ensure reliable retailer supply, including call-offs, delivery windows, displays, and complaints
Define processes, KPIs, and tools
Build customer operations tools, processes, and goodwill policies
Translate recurring customer feedback into improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics involving physical products
Proven responsibility for goods, orders, inventory, or product availability
Understanding of the interdependencies between forecasting, procurement, production, working capital, transportation, and sales
Experience working with 3PLs and freight forwarders; international sourcing and retail supply experience is preferred
Ability to turn unstructured processes into simple, scalable processes and document them
Proactive problem-solving mindset and strong sense of ownership
Excellent communication skills in German and English
A master’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a comparable field is a plus, but not required
