About the role

  • May work with student clubs and organizations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree or higher and at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline for credit courses transferable toward a higher degree
  • OR a combination of academic preparation and work experience, including three (3) years of direct or related work experience other than teaching, for workforce education degree or certificate courses
  • OR Bachelor’s degree or higher in the specific teaching discipline and demonstrated competency for developmental courses
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully with diverse populations
  • Ability to provide quality customer service
  • Official transcripts required at time of interview
  • Bilingual or multilingual preferred
  • Subject to a criminal background check; some positions may be subject to a fingerprint check
  • May be required to lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Regular and predictable attendance required
