About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide on-campus part-time employment for students who do not demonstrate financial need
  • Perform typical student assistant duties such as office assistance, assistant technician work, lab assistance, aiding instructors/deans, or athletic assistance
  • Perform normal physical job functions within a standard office environment
  • Perform other job-related tasks as directed
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress standards set by Dallas College
  • Must be enrolled and certified in at least a one-credit hour course
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen
  • Must not have any prior institutional balance or blocks
  • Complete required Dallas College professional development training hours
  • Subject to a criminal background check; some positions may be subject to a fingerprint check
  • Mature, responsible, organized, and able to pay attention to details
  • Regular and predictable attendance required
