About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct comprehensive reviews of clinical cases
- Apply specialized otolaryngology expertise to provide objective, evidence-based medical advisory opinions
- Review medical records, clinical documentation, diagnostic reports, and treatment records
- Prepare clear and concise clinical summaries
- Respond to client questions related to otolaryngologic care
- Perform advisory medical record reviews only, without peer-to-peer discussions, calls, or direct patient care
- Evaluate ENT procedures, treatment, medical records, and clinical documentation
- Provide high-quality, objective, and defensible medical determinations
Requirements
What you’ll need- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certification in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery
- Current, unrestricted Nebraska medical license
- Minimum of 5+ years of clinical experience in Otolaryngology
- Ability to attend all required orientation and training sessions
- Maintains appropriate credentialing, state licensure, board certification, and any certifications required to perform the role
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to communicate findings clearly and objectively in written form
- Experience reviewing medical records and clinical documentation
- Ability to provide concise, well-supported, evidence-based clinical opinions
