About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain the physician panel, including physician profile instructions, updated fees, doctor groups, physician deactivation/reactivation, and W9 remit-to changes
  • Understand client fee schedules and turnaround-time requirements to negotiate physician agreement terms
  • Research and conduct outreach when new panel options are needed
  • Onboard new physicians based on client needs
  • Obtain required paperwork, including agreements, applications, CVs, W9s, and NPDB documentation
  • Work with Network leadership to set agreement fees
  • Provide dictation and Access DS instructions as necessary
  • Maintain panel relations with regional panel physicians
  • Represent the organization in person and conduct recruiting and clinic visits
  • Interact with and support block-time physicians
  • Provide scheduling assistance to support Operations and maximize scheduling capacity
  • Recruit and manage doctors in regional strategic markets to support IME exam services and physician-specialty needs
  • Address licensing and necessary certifications for doctors willing to allow unilateral recording and commit to blocked clinic days
  • Conduct in-person recruitment and relationship-management visits with current and prospective panel physicians
  • Foster long-term partnerships through face-to-face meetings and ongoing field presence
  • Source and fulfill open service requests requiring urgent network recruitment, with daily updates on sourcing efforts
  • Procure exam locations and add available resources to Dane Street’s database
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned and based on business needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Physician recruitment experience in a Healthcare/Insurance setting or equivalent transferable skill set
  • Working knowledge of physician networks, recruitment, medical specialties, and medical terminology
  • General knowledge of State and Federal compliance guidelines
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and meet specific deadlines
  • Computer literacy and typing skills required
  • Legal-related industry expertise preferred
  • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred
  • Ability to supply and support own internet services
  • Maintaining an uninterrupted internet connection is required for work-from-home positions
  • Willingness and ability to perform required lifting, bending, traveling, and extended sitting/computer work
