About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain the physician panel, including physician profile instructions, updated fees, doctor groups, physician deactivation/reactivation, and W9 remit-to changes
- Understand client fee schedules and turnaround-time requirements to negotiate physician agreement terms
- Research and conduct outreach when new panel options are needed
- Onboard new physicians based on client needs
- Obtain agreements, applications, CVs, W9s, and NPDB paperwork
- Work with Network leadership to set agreement fees
- Provide dictation and Access DS instructions as necessary
- Maintain relationships with regional panel physicians
- Recruit and manage doctors in regional strategic markets to support IME exam services and business needs across specialties
- Address licensing and necessary certifications for doctors willing to allow unilateral recording and commit to blocked clinic days, when applicable
- Conduct in-person recruitment and relationship-management visits with current and prospective panel physicians
- Foster long-term partnerships through face-to-face meetings and ongoing field presence
- Source and fulfill open service requests requiring urgent network recruitment, with daily sourcing updates
- Procure exam locations and add available resources to Dane Street’s database in target areas
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned based on business needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred (not required)
- Physician recruitment experience in a Healthcare/Insurance setting or equivalent transferable skill set
- Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred
- Working knowledge of physician networks, recruitment, medical specialties, and terminology
- General knowledge of State and Federal compliance guidelines
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Critical thinking skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to manage time efficiently and meet specific deadlines
- Computer literacy and typing skills required
- Ability to maintain an uninterrupted internet connection
- Ability to supply and support own internet services
- Willingness and ability to perform required lifting, bending, traveling, and long periods of sitting and computer work
