About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain the physician panel, including physician profile instructions, updated fees, doctor groups, physician activation status, and W9 remit-to changes
  • Understand client fee schedules and turnaround-time requirements to negotiate physician agreement terms
  • Research and conduct outreach for new panel options
  • Onboard new physicians based on client needs
  • Obtain agreements, applications, CVs, W9s, and NPDB paperwork
  • Work with Network leadership to set agreement fees
  • Provide dictation and Access DS instructions as necessary
  • Maintain panel relations with regional physicians
  • Recruit and manage doctors in regional strategic markets for IME exam services and specialty needs
  • Address licensing and necessary certifications for doctors willing to allow unilateral recording and commit to blocked clinic days
  • Conduct in-person recruitment and relationship-management visits with current and prospective panel physicians
  • Foster long-term partnerships with panel doctors through face-to-face meetings and ongoing field presence
  • Source and fulfill open service requests requiring urgent network recruitment, with daily sourcing updates
  • Procure exam locations and add them to Dane Street’s database of available resources
  • Meet or exceed monthly recruiting targets in a goal- and production-based role
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned based on business needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Physician recruitment experience in a healthcare/insurance setting or equivalent transferable skill set
  • Working knowledge of physician networks, recruitment, medical specialties, and medical terminology
  • General knowledge of state and federal compliance guidelines
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and meet specific deadlines
  • Computer literacy and typing skills required
  • Ability to supply and support own internet services
  • Maintaining an uninterrupted internet connection is required
  • Ability to perform required lifting, bending, traveling, prolonged sitting, and computer work
  • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred
  • Legal-related industry expertise preferred
