About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and mentor a regional group of Product Application Engineers in North America and EMEA
- Guide the team in serving customers’ technical needs and managing complex application recommendations
- Oversee the technical engagement lifecycle from initial customer request/RFQ to final product deployment
- Ensure high-performance solutions and smooth transition of new business from design to production
- Collaborate with design engineering, operations, sales, and customer support
- Act as technical liaison for hyperscalers, OEMs, and manufacturers
- Meet with customers to understand challenges and ensure solution value and performance
- Develop and execute short- and long-term regional application engineering strategy
- Consolidate customer gaps, local insights, and market trends to influence the product roadmap
- Identify solution gaps and collaborate with sales on account strategy
- Report to the Sr. Director of Sales and Applications and contribute to global leadership strategy and daily business success
- Travel 15%-25%
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
- 6+ years of experience in an Engineering or Sales Engineering capacity
- Proven ability to lead or mentor engineering teams
- Strong expertise in interpreting technical specifications, engineering drawings, and system requirements
- Understanding of flow, pressure, and material compatibility
