Shape and evolve the data management approach with relevant stakeholders
Translate the data management approach into focused initiatives
Build capability and demonstrate value through practical initiatives
Define responsibilities, decision rights, ownership, stewardship, and escalation paths
Build adoption by engaging, educating, and enabling product teams, business owners, and data stewards
Act as a subject matter expert and change leader
Help improve data ownership, data quality, and reliable use of data
Work across the organisation with stakeholders at different levels
Drive deliverables and challenge when needed
Contribute to establishing and maturing the data management capability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience shaping and implementing data management, data governance, or data strategy in a complex organisation
Experience designing operating models, decision rights, ownership structures, governance frameworks, or capability roadmaps
Solid understanding of data quality, metadata, ownership, stewardship, master/reference data, and data sharing
Experience working with product-oriented, agile, or cross-functional teams
Ability to translate enterprise direction into practical adoption
Strong communication and facilitation skills
Ability to engage senior leadership and hands-on delivery teams
Independent, self-directed, and accountable approach
Ability to create structure from ambiguity and take ownership of initiatives
Ability to translate complex data management topics into clear decisions
Prior energy-sector knowledge is not required
