About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and enhance applications and features on Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Configure Dynamics modules according to business processes and requirements
- Develop extensions, components, and interfaces using technologies suited to the platform
- Create and enhance solutions with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse
- Design and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 and information system applications
- Participate in requirements analysis, technical specification writing, and effort estimation
- Perform testing, contribute to user acceptance testing, and fix identified defects
- Participate in production releases, data migrations, and deployment monitoring
- Diagnose incidents and provide corrective and evolutionary maintenance for solutions
- Ensure the quality, security, and performance of developments
- Collaborate with business teams, project managers, other developers, and external providers
- Document solutions, interfaces, and maintenance procedures
- Stay up to date with developments in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent software development experience
- Experience developing, configuring, or integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions
- Knowledge of one or more Dynamics 365 modules, such as Sales, Customer Service, or Field Service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dataverse and data modeling principles
- Experience with Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate
- Knowledge of APIs, web services, and integration mechanisms is an asset
- Development skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or .NET, depending on the solutions implemented
- Knowledge of development, testing, and deployment environments for Dynamics solutions
- Understanding of version control, testing, and code documentation practices
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications are an asset
- Fluency in French; knowledge of technical English is an asset
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand business processes
- Thoroughness, autonomy, and a strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical solutions
- Technical curiosity and an interest in Microsoft technologies and business application development
- Service-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
