Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, enhance, and support SAP BRIM technical solutions across SOM, CI, CC, and FI-CA
Develop custom enhancements, interfaces, workflows, forms, APIs, and automation solutions for enterprise billing and revenue management
Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions
Support subscription-based and usage-based billing models
Develop and enhance SAP Subscription Order Management processes and integrations
Support order capture, contract modifications, fulfillment integrations, and subscription management workflows
Develop APIs and integrations for order orchestration and provisioning
Develop and support Convergent Charging configurations, customizations, usage-based billing, rating logic, mediation integration, and pricing and charging frameworks
Optimize charging performance for high-volume transaction processing
Develop and support invoicing, billing aggregation, financial posting, invoice generation, formatting, reconciliation, and billing integrations
Develop and support SAP FI-CA solutions for customer account management, payment processing, collections and dunning, financial postings, dispute management, and account reconciliation
Support integration with SAP S/4HANA Finance and related enterprise systems
Develop ABAP programs, BADIs, user exits, enhancements, RFCs, OData services, APIs, and web services
Support integrations between SAP BRIM, SAP S/4HANA, CRM/CX platforms, middleware, third-party billing, and payment systems
Collaborate with integration architects and middleware teams on interface development
Develop and execute unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing
Support defect analysis, debugging, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
Ensure solution quality, scalability, and operational stability
Analyze and optimize application performance and transaction processing efficiency
Support monitoring, troubleshooting, incident response, deployments, cutovers, maintenance windows, and production operations
Create and maintain technical specifications, interface documentation, operational procedures, development standards, and technical runbooks
Ensure adherence to development standards, security requirements, and governance processes
Collaborate with architects, functional consultants, data migration teams, BASIS administrators, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders
Participate in architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and Agile ceremonies
Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to internal teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of SAP technical development experience
3+ years of direct SAP BRIM development experience
Proven experience supporting enterprise billing and revenue management solutions
Strong understanding of subscription-based and usage-based billing processes
Hands-on experience with SAP SOM, SAP CI, SAP CC, and SAP FI-CA
Strong ABAP development experience, including enhancements, user exits, BADIs, APIs, OData services, and workflow integrations
Experience with SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA integrations, middleware and API integrations, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Strong understanding of SAP architecture, billing and invoicing processes, financial integration concepts, and enterprise integration patterns
Strong analytical and technical problem-solving abilities
Strong software development and debugging capabilities
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Preferred SAP certifications, including SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver, SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management, and SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA
SAP S/4HANA technical certifications preferred
SAP BTP certifications preferred
Cloud certifications in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
