About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for Data Center operations
Analyse financial performance and monitor progress against budget, providing KPIs and suggesting corrective actions
Collaborate with sales, operations, and procurement teams to track performance and improve processes
Participate in the monthly closing process and define cut-off accruals
Monitor and control capital expenditures across multiple sites, define accruals, and track progress with the construction department
Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports for management and external stakeholders
Implement dashboards to follow costs by center of activity of assets and identify deviations from budget
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, including SOX controls
Drive automation and improvement of financial processes, tools, and reporting systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related fields
5 to 7 years minimum of experience in financial controlling, preferably in the data center or tech infrastructure field or international group
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving orientation
Proficiency in financial modeling and tools, including Excel and Power BI
Knowledge of Italian GAAP / IFRS
Experience with SOX controls appreciated
Professional proficiency in English
Knowledge of French appreciated
Good interpersonal skills and team-oriented approach
Capacity to organize and manage priorities and deadlines
Proactivity, flexibility, and adaptability
