About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop and maintain predictive models for group energy KPIs, including PUE, WUE, CUE, ERF, REF and EnPIs
  • Define and periodically update Energy Baselines (EnB) and Energy Performance Indicators (EnPIs), ensuring methodological traceability across all sites
  • Improve modelling accuracy using operational feedback and updated infrastructure or workload assumptions
  • Produce periodic forecasting reports and present findings to the Energy & Resource Operation Manager and stakeholders
  • Support country teams in identifying, defining and validating critical energy parameters for analysis and reporting
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across BMS, databases and Grafana before reporting
  • Provide technical guidance on monitoring parameters, data reliability and measurement correctness
  • Define and maintain alarm thresholds and anomaly detection logic for monitored energy parameters
  • Coordinate with IT and BMS teams to resolve data integration issues and maintain accurate energy data flows
  • Guide investigations of significant energy deviations through structured root cause analyses and quantified impact assessments
  • Support corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) and monitor their effectiveness at group level
  • Support periodic Energy Reviews and identify or update Significant Energy Uses (SEUs)
  • Assess the technical and economic feasibility of energy efficiency initiatives, including CAPEX/OPEX business cases
  • Provide analytical input for prioritising the energy improvement roadmap
  • Review monthly and quarterly energy reports for consistency between operational data, KPIs and disclosed figures before distribution

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (Industrial or Energy) or equivalent
  • Specialised training or certification in energy data analysis, statistics or modelling is a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in critical infrastructure, data centers, or industrial operations
  • Proven experience in energy data analysis, KPI modelling and performance management in a multi-site environment
  • Good understanding of energy management standards and KPI frameworks (PUE, WUE, CUE, EnPI, GHG)
  • Good understanding of ISO 50001 and familiarity with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 27001)
  • Fluent English
  • Strong knowledge of critical infrastructure (electrical, mechanical, cooling, generators, UPS)
  • Experience with monitoring and data visualization tools such as Grafana
  • Experience with KPI frameworks and performance management
  • Experience with BMS/SCADA data platforms and energy monitoring systems
  • Experience with Measurement & Verification (M&V) methodologies for energy project assessment
  • Experience with root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Strong analytical mindset, methodological rigour and attention to data quality
  • Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Structured approach to problem-solving and ability to manage multiple analytical workstreams simultaneously
  • Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement of data quality, modelling accuracy and reporting standards
