About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure customer fit-out projects are delivered correctly from design through quotations, supplier selection, and delivery
  • Monitor fit-out projects end to end in line with customer strategy, desired margins, and service quality expectations
  • Support customer-facing and Sales teams in submitting and obtaining project approvals
  • Monitor project schedules and service quality
  • Collaborate with operational and construction teams to complete assignments successfully
  • Supervise suppliers and contractors
  • Draw up specifications and provisional schedules
  • Anticipate costs of project overruns
  • Enforce health, safety, environmental, information security, and energy policies
  • Manage suppliers' access on site
  • Meet project deadlines and ensure delivery deadlines are met
  • Prepare and hold customer meetings and provide project progress visibility
  • Participate in recurring project call meetings
  • Coordinate project work with maintenance operations to avoid duplicated service activities
  • Report project status to the Global Fit Out Manager
  • Travel occasionally
  • Work mainly on fit-out projects in Italy and potentially on projects in other countries

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • More than 5 years' experience in facilities and construction, preferably in Data Center Industries
  • Technician/engineer with experience
  • Knowledge of electricity, air conditioning, computer networks, safety, and security
  • Ability to coordinate suppliers and contractors
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to listen to customer needs and constraints
  • Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Flexibility and open-minded approach
  • Ability to report quickly
  • Ability to communicate and exchange easily with customers
  • Accurate and methodical
  • Team spirit
