About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deploy hosting solutions sold by sales teams for colocation customers, ranging from single-rack installations to complete computer rooms
- Plan, deliver, and document customer projects during the Build phase
- Finalize solution designs and provide accurate delivery forecasts with technical resources and sales teams
- Manage solution delivery and set and maintain customer expectations
- Manage capacity in Run mode, including low-voltage infrastructure and racks
- Maintain knowledge of client locations across the campus
- Collaborate with High Voltage, Low Voltage, and Air Conditioning experts, external service providers, and the Operations team
- Deploy new services such as inter-site links, private public-cloud connectivity, DCIM, cross-connects, and remote hands
- Establish customer-appropriate governance models and maintain Statement of Work, schedules, and other deliverables through acceptance
- Transfer accepted projects to the Service Management and Support team
- Manage stakeholder expectations, customer relationships, and project communications
- Coordinate employees and outsourced personnel
- Roll out, implement, and track telecommunications carriers providing customer connectivity
- Produce project documentation including Statements of Work, Gantt charts, quality plans, and reports
- Conduct client-requested site tours
- Perform capacity planning for colocation clients
- Ensure customer rooms remain operationally satisfactory, including cleanliness and security
- Maintain customer room plans and write monthly customer reports
- Manage local staff responsible for customer deliveries
- Enforce health and safety, environmental, information security, and energy policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 years of higher education in a technical field in networks, computers, or electromechanical infrastructures
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the same position
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Proven track record in project management, preferably in hosting or service integration industries
- Basic understanding of High Voltage, Low Voltage, and Air Conditioning technical infrastructure
- Proven ability to meet high standards of written and verbal communication with clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD
- Strong sense of confidentiality, integrity, and professional ethics
- High level of accuracy, with excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong listening and influencing skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
- Proven experience in a customer-oriented environment
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective under pressure, particularly in crisis situations
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders
