About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement complex network environments including Aruba, Fortinet, and Palo Alto solutions
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies and trends to recommend innovative solutions
- Conduct proof-of-concept testing and provide recommendations for adoption
- Provide remote support, troubleshooting, and fault-finding for on-site engineers and customers
- Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining access, and monitoring access
- Maintain accurate documentation of architecture, configurations, and changes
- Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
- Design and document detailed technical specifications and blueprints for IT systems and network solutions
- Ensure designs adhere to industry best practices and compliance standards
- Design and optimize LAN, WAN, and cloud-based network infrastructure
- Implement network security measures to protect against threats and vulnerabilities
- Evaluate and recommend network hardware and software solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as a Network Engineer
- 5+ years’ experience with Aruba switching and wireless
- Experience with Aruba ClearPass
- Knowledge of SD-WAN solutions
- Extensive experience with routing protocols including OSPF and BGP
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, security, and infrastructure
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Excellent listening and communication skills
