About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Schedule and perform preventive maintenance action items according to predictive/preventive maintenance plans
- Manage spare parts inventory, including processing, stocking, posting incoming orders, and maintaining parts files in SAP
- Prepare and perform annual parts inventory
- Maintain PM procedures in Pilgrim and create corresponding PM02 records in SAP S4HANA
- Partner with global resources to support SAP S4 implementation and ensure work order and tool life tracking accuracy
- Identify, procure, and monitor critical spares, including long-lead-time components
- Document PM failures through the Quality System using Non-Conformity records
- Support customer audits by presenting the Maintenance PM program and performance evidence
- Communicate with internal departments and external vendors about parts and maintenance scheduling
- Oversee timely completion and documentation of preventive maintenance activities
- Train operators and technicians in maintenance best practices and parts-handling procedures
- Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement across maintenance functions
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing spare parts and maintenance planning
- Strong working knowledge of SAP S4HANA and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of electro-mechanical systems, maintenance intervals, and OSHA regulations
- Forklift license and valid driver’s license preferred
