About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Operate and monitor packaging equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • Operate manual and semi-automatic compression moulding/trimming machines
  • Produce moulded sheets of varied products from preform rubber compounds
  • Perform preform pre-control on rubber compounds
  • Maintain equipment in good and safe working condition and keep the work area clean, safe, and organized
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements
  • Follow organizational and work-specific instructions and attend applicable training and meetings
  • Meet productivity standards and complete tasks efficiently
  • Identify and report potential safety risks to the line manager
  • Participate in department or quality team meetings
  • Suggest and implement improvements independently or collaboratively
  • Train new operators and trainees as requested
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to speak, read and write English to understand operating and related procedures and complete position-related documentation
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to operate manual and semi-automatic compression moulding/trimming machines according to SOPs and WIs
  • Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory standards, safety regulations, and company procedures
  • Ability to work the 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. shift
