About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with litigation attorneys and business services professionals to identify and implement opportunities for generative AI and legal technology across litigation workflows
- Configure and test AI-powered platforms and litigation technology tools
- Develop, test, and refine prompts for litigation workflows
- Drive adoption through training sessions, workshops, and hands-on demonstrations
- Gather practitioner feedback and refine AI-enabled solutions
- Serve as a trusted resource for litigation attorneys by translating legal expertise into technology solutions
- Contribute to responsible AI governance, acceptable use policies, and quality-assurance processes
- Develop documentation, playbooks, best practices, and prompt libraries
- Convert litigation precedents, brief banks, motion templates, and practice playbooks into structured knowledge resources
- Collaborate with Knowledge & Innovation, IT, and other stakeholders on firm-wide AI strategy, tool selection, vendor evaluations, and pilot programs
- Monitor legal technology and generative AI developments to improve litigation efficiency
Requirements
What you’ll need- Juris Doctor (J.D.) required
- Minimum of 3–5 years of substantive litigation practice at a major law firm
- Experience including case strategy, motion practice, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and court filings
- Demonstrated interest in and aptitude for legal technology, innovation, or AI applications in legal practice
- Fluency with generative AI tools, including large language models and AI-assisted drafting platforms
- Understanding of prompt engineering concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to build trusted, collegial relationships across litigation practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead adoption efforts and overcome resistance to new tools and processes
- Proficiency with legal AI tools such as e-discovery platforms, AI-assisted legal research, document review, or predictive analytics tools
- Proficiency in AI/ML concepts, large language models, and their practical application
