About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Repair and maintain biomedical equipment supporting dialysis treatments in DaVita clinics
- Keep dialysis treatments and clinic equipment up and running
- Provide emergency response coverage for supported clinics
- Travel between clinics using a personal automobile
- Participate in on-call rotations to support clinic and patient needs outside regular hours
- Communicate openly, honestly, and frequently with DaVita teammates
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma
- Trade school/college biomedical or electronics technology education is advantageous
- Skilled electro-mechanical equipment technician experience or demonstrated aptitude
- Great communication skills
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook), internet navigation, and DaVita-specific applications
- Valid driver's license within the state of application
- Valid automobile insurance
- Acceptable driving record
- Availability for on-call rotations
- Residence in close proximity to supported clinics
